With the end of year fast approaching our builds have well and truly kicked into gear. With Mollymook finishing off and Woollahra starting up, our team is a busy as ever creating our signature quality builds.
There’s no slowing down as this project nears completion, We’re very excited to start to see Will Dangar and his team bring in some greenery to the project! A sign that the end is in sight.
There’s still a lot of work to do but a build like this deserves all the attention we can give it. Can not wait to see the finished product.
Demolition works have been completed including the cutouts to the concrete slabs; this is the beginning of a stunning void. This design feature is going to open up the entire build to the natural light.
The new zinc roof has augmented the concrete works, giving us a real picture of how good the final product is going to be with this build. With landscaping works about to commence, this project will move forward in leaps and bounds over the next few months, definitely one to watch
The luxurious indoor pool has been the focus down at Kiama, but over the next month we will be moving onto roofing works, and getting the external windows in. This project is going to be amazing once completed.
JOIN is very proud to announce that our FARM project has won the Lighting Society NSW Chapter Lighting Design Award of Excellence. This is the first time a residential project has won this award and it is a true testament to the collaborative efforts of Fergus Scott Architecture, Electrolight, Ampelect and JOIN; making this incredible design come to life.
Given the earthy and natural nature of the build and materials, it was imperative that the lighting was subtle and would not drown out the architecture. This was achieved with the majority of the lighting being concealed from view and the deliberate placement of micro-down lights installed in linear groups to accentuate the design.
An incredible job by everyone involved and a special congratulations to Donn and the team at Electrolight.
